All of our fans come with the proper (USA only) power adapter with a 6 foot cord and 4, 10-32 black rack screws and plastic rack rash washers.

Resource Matrix and TrikTags is proud to offer our 2RU SoundsCool™ rack mount fan. They are available from stock in 150 CFM capacity to satisfy your rack cooling needs.

The SoundsCool™ is unique in that we have designed a control system that listens to the environment with a user installable microphone on a 10 foot cord. The microphone is enclosed in a durable plastic housing. You can drop it or step on it and it will be fine.

We designed the control circuitry to allow the SoundsCool™ to continuously run at a very slow speed. This insures that hot spots do not develop in your rack. Then, at the first instance of increased sound levels the fans immediately speed up in response. When the sound levels return to normal, so do the fans.

Because the SoundsCool™ is programmed to listen to it's environment and respond, you may never hear it run! You'll know it's working for you.

We have backed up the sound level control system to also include a thermal control. We include a thermistor on a four foot cord for remote placement. The thermistor has a magnet to allow easier location. The power indicator built into the switch will flash and the SoundsCool™ will automatically be in high speed mode in response to any high temperature situation. Once the high temperature has been resolved the SoundsCool™ will return to its normal operating mode.

User adjustments are provided but have been found to be unnecessary. Use your own judgment.

Why should you consider Triktags fans?

Triktags builds all of its fans with the best available components. The metalwork is constructed from 16 gauge steel, not 18 gauge as some of our competitors do. In particular our 2RU fan series has four flanges for maximum strength. The fans are mounted on soft rubber bushings to prevent fan noise from reverberating to the panel itself. There is no metal to metal contact to increase ambient noise levels.
